Top 10 Bumper Stickers … and How to Buy Them!

// August 15th, 2011 // Comments Off // Bumper Stickers, Buying Bumper Stickers

Bumper stickers are almost as old as the automobile itself when some wag having shelled out for a Model T decided it was breaking down far too often, took too much maintenance and generally was not a good deal – this disgruntled customer came up with the anti-marketing slogan the Ford Motor Company has come to hate:

FORD = Fix Or Repair Daily!

Apart from disgruntled car buyers, bumper stickers have become a part of the daily commute and road trip scene and the search is on for something better than, “My Kid is an Honor Student” or “Vote for Whoever”

Heart Attacks: God’s Revenge for Eating His Animal Friends

Obviously, most of these are pretty coarse and what you’d expect from the college students – you know the type, future leaders, captains of industry, doctors, dentists, lawyers and generally the future.

If your own taste varies or even if it doesn’t, how do you get your hands on a bumper sticker which may contain the same lines but has something very different to offer?

More than this, where on earth do you go to find a supplier who will take your ideas and designs and come up with very own, unique and no-one else has it bumper sticker?

The answer is simple – turn on the computer and enter “bumper sticker printing” into your search engine and see how many search results come back offering their services for printing your very own bumper sticker! We recommend MaverickLabel.com.

The question isn’t where do you get them from but how do you select from the hundreds of thousands of printers out there offering their services?

First, make sure you are dealing with a company which has a physical address and landline telephone number here in the US.

Second, check the prices they are offering and whether they have standardized templates ready for you to customize.

Third, make sure they have a secure payment section on their website – you can do this simply by looking on the payment page and taking a peek at the section where the website address is displayed – you should see this, https://websitename.com – notice that little s in there?  That is your security that the website is secure and protected so no-one else can get hold of your credit card or banking information.

Fourth, check online by doing a search on the company you are thinking of placing the order with – there are plenty of consumer forums and review sites out there and if you see positive reviews, you know you are dealing with a reputable company that means business.

Finally, ensure the order will not take weeks to produce – many companies operating overseas do this and it is impossible to speed them up once they have your money – make sure you read the small print and make sure they are based in the country and not overseas.

Bumperstickers Help High School Talent Show Soar

// April 26th, 2011 // Comments Off // Bumper Stickers

At Griffindale High School every year they hold a talent show. It’s something the kids and teachers alike look forward to. Students share their talents from singing, dancing, art and other skills. It is a creative night that everyone enjoys. But this year the talent show was almost cancelled. That is until custom bumper stickers came along to save the day.

The talent show is an annual fundraiser for the school. The school counts on ticket sales to help with school programs the kids look forward to – like the end of the year picnic. Many community members come to the talent show, knowing it will help the school. The kids do two performances – an early show and an evening show.

But this year the secretary forgot to place the ad in the local newspaper. The school was very concerned that the community wouldn’t know about the talent show in time to buy tickets. Without community members coming to the talent show, they simply wouldn’t sell enough tickets. The school might not have enough money to afford an end of the year school picnic and other nice things for the students.

That’s when one of the teachers suggested bumper stickers. By ordering them and giving them to students and families, the community would easily know about the talent show.  They came in full color and the school had many choices for fonts. The school could even add the school’s mascot to the bumper sticker. With the information about the talent show including the date and time – they were ready to hand out. Homeroom teachers were given one and each student was given several.

It wasn’t long ‘till cars were spotted around town with the colorful funny bumper stickers reminding everyone about the talent show. The school’s phone was ringing and ringing with community members wanting to buy tickets. They were a success!

The school parking lot was filled with cars proudly wearing the talent show bumper sticker. Both students and parents alike thought they were great. Not only was it in the official school colors but it had the school mascot on it – the eagle. The teachers had bumper stickers on their cars too. Many commented they were asked about the talent show while about town, and everyone knew about the talent show. It was such a popular event that people were glad to know it would be happening soon. They were excited to buy tickets and go to the talent show and support the school.

The day of the talent show came and both shows were completely sold out. The principal and teachers smiled, knowing they would have plenty of funds to afford the end of the year school picnic and other nice things for the students during the school year. The talent show was yet another success. Even better – the bumper stickers cost far less than the advertisement in the newspaper! So the principal and school knew they could count on them for the coming year. When you find something successful like bumper stickers – you should just stick with it!
